Thank You for Giving to Career Wardrobe

Career Wardrobe was so pleased to be part of the Pennsylvania Conference for Women this year!  We had a steady stream of women stopping at our table, taking information about how and where to donate their new and gently used clothing and accessories, and bring by enough donations that day to fill one and a half wardrobe boxes of items.
The items donated that day have gone into our inventory to assist the thousands of women we see receive a finishing touch, however, it’s not only about clothing.  As a former client Ernestine explains; she was applying for a job at Girard Medical Center when the staff from the program referred her to Career Wardrobe.  She had almost forgotten the rush of self-confidence that comes from looking in a full-length mirror and seeing a well-dressed woman. “It was amazing,” she recalls. “They supplied everything I needed for an interview.“
