There are typically more attendees than there are available parking spots at the Convention Center. 

We strongly encourage public transportation, followed by ride sharing (Uber, Lyft) or carpooling. Grab a group of friends or colleagues and extend your #PennWomen networking to and from the conference!

 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

SEPTA IS THE PHILLY WAY TO GO! – INTO, OUT OF and ALL AROUND THE CITY.

SEPTA is the region’s public transportation system offering bus, trolley, subway, and Regional Rail services. Jefferson Station (formerly called Market East Regional Rails Station) is connected to the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

• The Airport Regional Rail Line provides a direct connection between the terminals at Philadelphia International Airport and downtown Philadelphia in just 20 minutes.(To get to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, exit at Jefferson Station.) The cost of a one-way ride on the Airport Line is just $8.00 Cash or Major Credit Card accepted. A discounted Quick Trip can be purchased from Airport Kiosks before boarding for $6.75.

• From Amtrak’s 30th Street Station you can take any SEPTA Regional Rail Line going towards Center City to the Convention Center. Ask the SEPTA Passenger Service staff for assistance. A Regional Rail train departs every few minutes. The ride to Center City is free with your Amtrak ticket.

• Other SEPTA Regional Rail Lines can take you throughout the region or try a bus, trolley, or subway to see all the points of interest within Philadelphia. Please visit www.septa.org or call (215) 580-7800.

• Key Cards with One Day FleX Passes ($10-$13 depending on distance) are available from Fare Kiosks and Station Sales Offices. Provides up to 10 rides on all SEPTA routes serving thousands of destinations.
