Operation Homefront PA/DE Needs Your Support

We were pleased to join with Operation Homefront of PA & DE for the second year in a row at the Oct. 25 PA Conference for Women. Operation Homefront provides emergency financial assistance and morale programs to our military and their families.

Pete Stinson, Chapter President, expressed his appreciation by stating, “It is through the support of wonderful organizations such as the PA Conference for Women that we are able to generate awareness for the struggles that our military and their families are continuing to go through in an effort to keep us safe and free. Without the constant support of individuals and businesses in the community, deserving families of service members suffer loss of utilities, potentially go homeless and are without food.”

Through the generosity of conference attendees, Operation Homefront of PA & DE was able to collect monetary donations as well as gift cards. Needs are constant throughout the year, but your support is crucial, especially in the months leading up to the holidays when our military families suffer a great deal. Operation Homefront asks for your help, not only financially (to donate, go to the PA/DE chapter website at www.operationhomefront.net/pade and click on the red “Donate” tab) and by volunteering, but also by increasing awareness by getting your businesses, family, friends, and neighbors to become fans on Facebook (go to www.facebook.com/ohpade and click the “Like” button at the top of the page). You can make a difference by remembering that one stone cast into the waters can create ripples that reach a distant shore.
