Tory Johnson is an award-winning workplace advisor, national network television contributor, popular speaker and New York Times best selling author.
She is the CEO of Women For Hire, now celebrating its 10th year producing high caliber recruiting events attended by more than 25,000 women annually. Johnson is also the workplace contributor on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and the anchor of “Job Club” on ABC News Now, a 24-hour digital news channel.
Johnson recently launched MyAmericaWorks.com, a national network of local job clubs, to train job club leaders and help communities get back to work. Dubbed the “workplace fairy godmother” by Glamour magazine because of her expertise in advising a panel of women on how to successfully ask forand securesalary increases, Johnson speaks frequently about career advancement nationwide. Her audiences range from Fortune 500 companies to prestigious conferences to college campuses, where she shares strategies and solutions for finding success and satisfaction at work. She serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors for Emerson College and she is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization, among other groups.
