Tracy Brown

TRACY BROWN is the leader of Cisco’s global service provider marketing team. The team is focused on building and executing business-based marketing programs to increase demand and adoption of Cisco solutions across the broad service provider segment, including global telecommunications carriers, cable operators, media and web services companies. The team also engages with Cisco service provider partners to increase demand for cloud and business services.  Currently, Brown is leading a global marketing team in growing the Tier 3 and below segment via inbound and digital marketing programs. Brown has broad service provider knowledge with over 25 years in the industry. Prior to joining Cisco, she worked at Bellcore, (Telcordia Technologies), where she was responsible for technical requirements on SMDS, frame Relay and network management.  She was an active participant within numerous standards bodies including the IEEE and IETF, where she co-chaired working groups and co-wrote RFCs.  She also worked at Bell Atlantic Network Integration where she held multiple positions in program management and network consulting.  She was the lead in network transformation projects in financial services, retail and manufacturing. Brown earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master Degree from Brown University. @cisco
