Reshema Kemps-Polanco

RESHEMA KEMPS-POLANCO currently serves as vice president, sales and marketing, solid tumors with Janssen Oncology at Johnson and Johnson. Prior to her current role, she served as VP, global commercial disease leader for GU Oncology.  Kemps-Polanco joined Janssen in 2014 as the global marketing leader for prostate cancer after a fifteen year career with Novartis, where she was most recently senior director, chronic myeloid leukemia franchise.  She also held other commercial roles of increasing responsibility across multiple therapeutic areas, including director of marketing, associate brand director, assistant to the CEO, business analytics, and sales. A recognized leader for her passion to lift people, patients, and communities, Kemps-Polanco was the recipient of the Rising Star Award from the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) in 2014.  She is a member of J&J’s Women’s Leadership & Inclusion ERG, and the African-American Leadership Council.  She is also a past board member for Jersey Battered Womens’ Services, and was recently selected as a KPMG Future Leaders Mentor. Kemps-Polanco earned an MBA from Rutgers University, an MA in industrial/organizational behavior from Louisiana Tech University, and a BA in social work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
