Lesley Louie

LESLEY LOUIE has held numerous senior marketing, sales, and operational roles during her 20 year career in the global high-tech industry.  She was vice president and general manager in Hewlett-Packard’s Enterprise Services and Consumer Printing businesses. After leaving HP in 2005, Louie became an Executive Leadership Instructor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In 2009 Louie participated in the Encore Fellows pilot program in San Francisco, enabling her to make a successful transition from an extensive for-profit career to a second career in the social sector. From 2010 to 2014 Louie was the national director of the award-winning Encore Fellowships Network.  During this period the “encore” talent program scaled from a Silicon Valley pilot to 35 metros, creating a national talent pipeline of highly-experienced corporate professionals successfully switching sectors and making an impact in the nonprofit sector. The program was featured in the Stanford Social Innovation Review in 2012 and recognized as a finalist for the Eisner Foundation’s Prize for Intergenerational Excellence in 2013. Louie earned an M.B.A. at Stanford and a B.A. from UCLA and lives in the Bay Area with her family.
