Larry Kessel is executive chef and director of culinary services at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia. Kessel has over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry. He has since served as owner and executive chef of Atara Bistro & Wine Bar in Boston, MA and executive chef at several esteemed schools in the Greater New England area including Harvard University and Wellesley College. He is a member of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and has received several Silver and Gold awards from the organization. Kessel studied at the Culinary Institute of America and participated in several leadership programs at Harvard University before moving on to train under the direction of Chef Charles Palmer of Aureole in New York City, NY.
