Jim Dever
Jim Dever serves in a dual role as President, Bank of America Greater Philadelphia, and Managing Director and Private Bank Market Executive for Pennsylvania and Delaware. As President, Jim is responsible for delivering the full capabilities offered through Bank of America to the region. He also leads the effort to deploy resources to address social and economic concerns, as well as support the health, safety, and engagement of employees. As Private Bank Market Executive, Jim leads a team of seasoned specialists who leverage the product breadth, industry expertise, and global presence to address the complex wealth needs of clients.
A veteran business leader of 30 years, Jim served as Global Commercial Banking Market Executive for Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, and New York City Metro Market. In this role, Jim oversaw a team responsible for providing a full range of solutions to companies with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion.
Jim is dedicated to devoting his time to a variety of civic and charitable organizations. Jim earned a degree in accounting from St. Jospeh’s University, where he met his wife of over 35 years. Philadelphia natives, the couple has two children and continue to reside in the area.
