Ilya Bonic
ILYA BONIC is a senior partner and president of the talent business segment at Mercer, a global consulting leader in talent, health, retirement, and investments. With more than 20 years’ experience in HR consulting, Bonic has worked with leading multinational companies to build human capital information resources and tools that allow them to make more informed decisions on strategic people issues. Bonic joined Mercer in Australia in 1997, and soon after relocated to Singapore where he delivered on Asia Pacific regional responsibilities. Following five years in Asia, he moved to Europe and was based in Geneva for nine years before relocating to the US in 2015. Bonic has had responsibility for all markets from which Mercer delivers client consulting services. With his international background and through his client and business leadership roles, he has been well placed to comment on current issues and emerging trends for Human Resources. Bonic regularly presents at various industry forums and is consistently invited by clients to provide their human resource teams, line managers and executives with insights into the HR issues, risks and opportunities that face them in managing in the competitive marketplace. Bonic earned an M.S. in applied psychology from the University of New South Wales, Australia. @mercer
