Denise McGregor Armbrister

Denise McGregor Armbrister is senior vice president of Wells Fargo Corporation and executive director of the Wells Regional Foundation and the Wells Fargo Regional Community Development Corporation.   A member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Germantown, the Forum of Executive Women, Links, Inc.-Penn Towne Chapter and the Philadelphia Chapter of Jack & Jill Inc., Armbrister is also a life member of the National Black MBA Association.   She serves on the board of trustees of Harcum College, and is a member of the board of directors of the Forum of Executive Women. Armbrister has been recognized with countless awards, including, Salute to Women of Achievement award by the March of Dimes, the Hardest Working Mothers in Southeastern Pennsylvania award by the Pennsylvania Partnership for Children, and recognized by the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Pennsylvania with the its Take the Lead: Cents and Sensibility award.  Armbrister was also honored as one of the Best 50 Women in Business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Women of Distinction by the Philadelphia Business Journal and as a Philadelphia Tribune “Mover & Shaker” in 2011. Armbrister holds a BA degree in Mathematics and Psychology from Wellesley College and a MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
