DEBORAH OWENS is a financial expert, author, media personality and nationally recognized public speaker. She is on a mission to close the wealth gap for women and minorities. Deborah is a contributor to News One Now on TVONE where her weekly segment, “Wealthy U,” provides actionable strategies to help people of all incomes build wealth. She is the author of three books, including her most recent, A Purse of Your Own: An Easy Guide to Financial Security, published by Simon and Schuster. She is the creator of the “A Purse of Your Own Campaign” to financially empower one million women, where women form groups, meet monthly, and use her tools to chart their path to financial security. Ms. Owens is also CEO of Owens Media Group (OMG), which provides executive leadership, sales coaching and training for organizations and individuals.
