Dawn Zier

DAWN ZIER is president and chief executive officer of Nutrisystem (NASDAQ:NTRI), an innovative provider of weight loss programs offering a wide variety of home-delivered, nutritionally balanced meal plans, retail products and advanced digital tools.  Since taking the helm in late 2012, Zier has embarked on an ambitious four-point turnaround and growth plan for Nutrisystem. Profits have more than doubled, the stock has more than tripled and earnings per share has increased five times under her tenure. Zier’s performance has ranked in the top 15 percent of all NASDAQ CEOs. Her distinct management philosophy and approach has earned her multiple business awards and media accolades, including Direct Marketer of the Year and a New York Time’s “Corner Office” profile. In addition to being a member of Nutrisystem’s board of directors, Zier serves on the board of directors for Spirit Airlines. She served as co-chairperson of the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) Philadelphia Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes, and is chairperson of the American Heart Association’s 2017 Go Red for Women initiative in Philadelphia. Zier regularly appears on CNBC, “FOX Business News” and Bloomberg TV, commentates on radio throughout the U.S., and contributes to FORTUNE, The Huffington Post and Philadelphia Business Journal.
