Courtney Mullen

COURTNEY MULLEN is a young professional skilled in pediatric physical therapy. She started at Shriners Hospitals for Children—Philadelphia as a training student and has continued to grow her career as a licensed physical therapist since 2012. Mullen graduated from Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, with a BA in psychology and neuroscience, and continued on to receive her doctorate in physical therapy at Temple University. In addition to her schooling, she is a board certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist in physical therapy. She is a member of American Physical Therapy Association, Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association, and American Physical Therapy Association-Pediatric Section. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at Temple University within the physical therapy department. She has been published in professional journals and presented at national conferences. Mullen is the rehabilitation specialist in the FIERCE clinic. She educates athletes on injury prevention and safety. Today she is happy to share her experience with young female conference attendees.
