BRENDAN CONLIN is chief programs officer for Congreso de Latinos Unidos. In this capacity, he oversees the agency’s three programmatic divisions, including education and workforce, health promotion and wellness, and family and housing services. Conlin stepped into the CPO position after serving as the VP of Education & workforce services. He joined Congreso in 2009 as an ESL Instructor after graduating from Temple University. He took full advantage of the intensive learning environment the agency provided, and quickly rose to become director of the E3 Center, which provides GED and work preparation for out of school youth. Today, in addition to serving as CPO at Congreso, he represents the organization and the needs of Congreso’s community across with city, overseeing its partnerships with Philadelphia Works, Inc., Philadelphia Youth Network, Eastern State Penitentiary, Penn State Abington, Harcum College and other leading institutions throughout the region.
