Mady Prowler is the Assistant Director of Coming of Age, a Philadelphia-based national initiative that promotes age 50+ civic engagement, lifelong learning, and leadership. In this role, she oversees local initiatives, including the Make A BIG Difference Teams, the Encore Volunteer Managers Program, and the TemPALS alumni-international student mentoring program at Temple University. Additionally, Prowler creates and publishes Inspiring Opportunities, a bi-weekly e-newsletter that provides both paid and unpaid opportunities, community events, and timely news for people age 50+. Formerly, Prowler served as the assistant director of Communications and publications director at the National Adoption Center; public engagement manager for the Early to Learn Program at United Way of Southeastern PA; and as a marketing/communications consultant for several nonprofits and government agencies. She is on the Executive Board of the National Adoption Center, a charter member of the Parent-Alumni Council at The Philadelphia School, and a member of the Center City Residents’ Association. Prowler graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s degree in social work. http://www.comingofage.org/
