Andrea Taylor, Ph.D.
Andrea Taylor, Ph.D. is the director of training at Temple University’s Intergenerational Center. The Center provides training and technical assistance focused on building the capacity of non-profit organizations to infuse intergenerational approaches into service delivery and engaging people 50+ in connecting and contributing to their communities. Dr. Taylor’s interests and affiliations are numerous. She provides consultation and training to a variety of private, non-profit organizations, institutions of higher education, school districts, federal and state agencies. Her first professional passion is youth mentoring. She is the developer of the evidenced based intergenerational mentoring program, Across Ages and serves on the Research and Policy Council for MENTOR/National Mentoring Partnership. Her second passion is research and she recently completed a retrospective study for the Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility at Swarthmore College.
