TONUSHREE MONDAL leads her own consulting business in strategic HR. She has over 20 years of global experience working with leadership teams in improving organizational effectiveness. She is a recognized strategic partner providing practical business relevant HR solutions. Her focus areas include talent strategy, culture and leadership development, performance and succession management, competencies and career path design. Prior to starting her own business, Mondal was the SVP of organizational effectiveness at the Hudson’s Bay Company, responsible for talent, leadership, change management and communications. Prior to HBC, she was the North American practice leader of the leadership and organization performance business at Mercer Consulting and a partner in the firm. She spent 15 years at Mercer working closely with senior leaders across different industries in large global companies. At the onset of her career in Mercer she spent five years in Asia helping clients on a wide array of talent and rewards related issues, specifically large multinational companies with local operations in Asia. Mondal earned an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India’s top business school in human resources and a graduate degree in economics from Jadavpur University, India. She has published articles in WorkSpan, HRPS and spoken at WorldatWork, HRPS and the HR Tech Conference.
