Shawane Lee

SHAWANE LEE is an assistant general counsel in the regulatory group for Fortune 100 Exelon Corporation, PECO Energy Company.  She began her in-house legal career at PECO Energy in April 2011 and is the lead attorney defending the company’s customer complaint litigation before the Public Utility Commission. Before joining PECO Energy, Lee was a civil litigator at a Philadelphia law firm, and was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star. Committed to public service, Lee completed a two-year tour as a Peace Corps Volunteer in French-speaking Togo, West Africa. She provides pro bono legal services to non-profit organizations, and holds annual fundraisers for a non-profit in Newark, NJ. Lee earned a BS in business and accounting from the University of Maryland, and a JD from Temple University Beasley School of Law.  She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Minnesota and the District of Columbia. @pecoconnect
