Jessica Craft

2014 Speaker

Jessica Craft is the founder of Rock to the Future, a non-profit organization that provides 100% free music education to underserved Philadelphia youth. In 2010, Craft won the $15,000 “Turning Point Prize” from Women for Social Innovation and left her prestigious financial services job to start Rock to the Future. Craft worked on a volunteer basis for the first two years of Rock to the Future until the organization secured additional funding. After only four years, the organization has grown from serving 13 to over 300 youth a year with four program areas, to four full time employees and six part time employees, and has observed exceptional improvements in student academic grades as well as musical ability. Rock to the Future has been featured in The New York Times, NBS, CBS, KYW and numerous college and community newspapers and blogs. In her spare time, Craft plays drums for indie-pop band Conversations and participates in Big Brother, Big Sister. @rock2future
