Dr. Patricia Henwood
DR. PATRICIA HENWOOD is the chief clinical officer and James D and Mary Jo Danella chief quality officer for Jefferson Health and an associate professor of emergency medicine and population health at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Henwood leads Jefferson’s nationally awarded On Point quality and safety program across the 18-hospital system. Her career has focused on a multidisciplinary approach to improving care quality and more effective systems. Dr. Henwood has worked in multiple countries developing partnerships with hospitals, universities, local public health departments, and ministries of health targeted to advance emergency care, outbreak response, and imaging capacity. She’s been a principal investigator on $7 million funding. Dr. Henwood attended Georgetown University (BA), Jefferson’s Sidney Kimmel Medical College (MD), and trained at the Harvard-Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency at Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s Hospitals where she served as chief resident. She completed a fellowship in emergency ultrasound with a focus on global health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
