Diane Gongaware
DIANE GONGAWARE is senior director for the U.S. public sector partner organization with Cisco Systems. In this capacity, she oversees $4 billion in Cisco business resulting from partners focused on federal, state and local government and education. Gongaware and her team work with sales, services and partners to develop comprehensive solutions supporting secure data centers, collaboration, mobility and cyber security, as well as cloud and vertical solution offerings to drive adoption and growth for Cisco’s U.S. public sector customers. Prior to joining Cisco, Gongaware spent 20 years in the communications sector, leading more than $1 billion in sales and marketing teams in Fortune 500 companies, as well as successful entrepreneurial ventures. Her experience spans all business market segments. She was a co-founder of “FAWN,” the Cisco Federal Area Women’s Network and is a strong advocate and mentor for Women in Technology (WIT). She is also a member of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC), completed the ACT/IAC Partners Program and has served as a mentor and vice-chair in the ACT/IAC Partner Program. She is also a 2015 YWCA TWIN honoree and recipient of the 2010 WIT Public Sector Large Business Leadership award.
