Carolina DiGiorgia
CAROLINA DiGIORGIA is president and CEO of Congreso de Latinos Unidos. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, DiGiorgio immigrated to the US in the mid-1980’s. She graduated from Rutgers University – Honors College and subsequently pursued her law degree at Rutgers University School of Law – Camden. Following her time as a corporate lawyer, DiGiorgio served as Montgomery County’s director of commerce where she was responsible for managing all County economic development and workforce development initiatives. Currently, in addition to serving on the multicultural advisory board of Bryn Mawr Trust, she serves on the board of directors of the Nelson Foundation and Covenant Bank. DiGiorgio served as a board member of Congreso de Latinos Unidos, concluding her service as chair of the board in October 2016 to ultimately taking her current position. She was recently recognized as a 2018 Philadelphia Business Journal Woman of Distinction, and a 2019 Take the Lead Honoree by the Girl Scouts of Southeastern PA.
