Diane Darling

2015 Speaker

DIANE DARLING is an author, speaker and LinkedIn aficionado. In order to overcome her fear of public speaking, she took acting and standup comedy classes. That out-of-the-box and strategic mindset has been a contributing factor to her success. A pioneer in social networking, McGraw-Hill commissioned Darling to write the definitive book on networking in 2003 (before Facebook or LinkedIn) called “The Networking Survival Guide.” It went into a second printing just 90 days after the book hit the shelves. Collectively her books have been translated into seven languages. She has taught at Harvard Business School, 20th Century Fox, Cisco Systems, Bank of America and University of Texas Law School, to name a few clients. She was also the commencement speaker at MIT Charm School. She has appeared on “NBC Nightly News,” in The Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Chronicle and The Boston Globe. She is a member of the CEO Club. @dianedarling
