About Us

The Pennsylvania Conference for Women is hosted by the Pennsylvania Commission for Women. The Conference first opened its doors in 2004, and since then it has grown to attract more than 5,000 attendees and truly impact lives. The 2011 Conference will be held October 25, 2011 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. See our Board Members.

Now in its eighth year, the Pennsylvania Conference for Women is a non-profit, non-partisan, one-day event that features dozens of renowned speakers sharing inspirational stories and leading seminars on the issues that matter most to women, including health, personal finance, executive leadership, business and entrepreneurship, work/life balance, media, and more. The Conference offers incredible opportunities for business networking, professional development, and personal growth. The annual Conference alternates between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

The 2011 Conference will be the sixth year of the Pennsylvania Conference for Women Scholarship Program, which partners with colleges and universities to award scholarships to qualifying women enrolled or accepted to institutions of higher education in Pennsylvania. Thanks to the generosity of participating schools, this unique statewide program has provided more than $1.7M in scholarships to deserving Pennsylvania women of all ages.

The Pennsylvania Conference for Women is a 501(c)3 organization, Tax ID# 20-0447019.
