Karen Farmer White is an education consultant. Previously, she was a managing director for the Pittsburgh office of Mesirow Financial. Prior to joining Mesirow Financial, White was vice president of education at WQED Multimedia, and served as executive director of the Program to Aid Citizen Enterprise. She is a graduate of The Leadership Pittsburgh Program and has received many awards for her service to the community. White serves on numerous boards including: the Pennsylvania State Board of Education; The August Wilson Center; Seton Hill University; Point Park University; the Pennsylvania State Board of Education; and the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) Foundation. She also serves as a role model and mentor for many in the community.
