One of only 14 women CEOs in the Fortune 500, Morrison discussed her philosophies on leadership and confidence, the role her family played (and plays) in her success, and how strategic career moves can help women advance to the C-suite.

On the topic of women and mentors, Myers introduced a study by LinkedIn revealing that one in five women had never had a mentor and that 70% of women who had never been a mentor said they had never been asked. Morrison shared her thoughts on mentoring and its importance.

“Mentoring is a give and a get,” said Morrison. “I think women, in particular, need to tell more stories; they need to pass on the learning to each other, and help each other get ahead.”
