2012 Conference Highlights

Speakers had a strong message for thousands of Pennsylvania women at the 9th annual Pennsylvania Conference for Women, October 2, 2012: “IMAGINE: Find Your Purpose, Make a Difference.” Keynote speakers included Arianna Huffington, president and editor-in-chief of Pulitzer Prize-winning Huffington Post Media Group; Cheryl Strayed, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the memoir “WILD,” Barbara Bradley Baekgaard, co-founder of internationally recognized Vera Bradley; Charlotte Beers, renowned Ogilvy & Mather advertising executive and former Undersecretary of State; Tory Johnson, CEO, Spark and Hustle and weekly contributor to ABC’s Good Morning America; and Sonia Sanchez, award-winning poet, activist and scholar.

Dozens of other speakers led program sessions throughout the day, all focused on celebrating the power within to help women bring about positive changes in their lives, careers and communities.
